Pueblo Verde - an Ecovillage

A multi-family housing complex takes the form of an ecovillage in Seville, Spain. It was developed with an emphasis on Mediterranean
culture through community, street culture, the environment, meals, and a work-life balance.
The occupants’ experience is formed through separation of public and private spaces, access to green space, and effective wayfinding. Performance of the space benefits from passive systems, efficient land use, and connected areas, which creates a sense of community, reduces environmental impact and promotes sustainability. There is farmland, varied community gathering spaces, apartments, single family residences, and a recreation center.
This was a collaborative project; my focus was the recreation center.
